The International Art Museum of America (IAMA) opened in 2011 as a retrospective of works by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. While shifting focus to better reflect our mission, IAMA began to acquire artwork from other Chinese and European masters of art. Our current collection now features traditional and modern Chinese ink wash and calligraphy, and European oil paintings from the 17th to 21st centuries.
IAMA seeks to promote art of quality and cultural significance. Each work chosen for display has an intrinsic personal beauty, an interesting artistic style and form, and an emphasis on innovative and creative technique. Our goal is to create a unique experience through this broad art collection which is still expanding.
The International Art Museum of America is proudly situated in San Francisco’s Central Market District. We are a public benefit, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
