IAMA offers careers in art administration, museum education, public relations, and marketing.
Internship positions are available year-round for students and recent graduates interested in art administration, museum education, public relations, or marketing. Working as a part of a small team within a young museum provides the opportunity to leave your mark on IAMA's history and to have your voice be heard and appreciated. You will be able to experience many different aspects of nonprofit museum operations while learning and earning school credit. All internships are unpaid but interns will be provided a small travel stipend. IAMA’s goal is to provide volunteer positions and internships that are mutually beneficial learning opportunities. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
The volunteer program at IAMA offers opportunities for members of the community to not only provide much needed additional support to the museum, but in return learn and grow in the field of nonprofit and arts administration. The museum currently utilizes volunteers at our front reception area, in our gallery space and in our museum store.
Learn, explore and grow with us in support of San Francisco's Art and Culture development!
We welcome positive thinkers, team players, and art lovers to join the IAMA family.
