The Western Collection includes art made by European and American painters ranging from the 17th century to as recent as 2017. The pieces displayed give a retrospective look at the progression and change in European and American art from the past to the present. From allegorical paintings to luminist landscapes, these works offer a unique perspective on how the use of color, light, and rendering can be applied to change how the viewer relates to the works.
